Life is a Succession of Choices

Guest Post by Judi Moreo

Things happen for a reason and we get through them as best we can.  Hopefully, we learn from everything that happens.  We are who we are because of all that has gone before and all of the choices we have made.  We made the best of things as they were, with the knowledge and skills we had at the time. As we grow, have more experiences and learn more lessons, we areable to make different and better choices.  We need to have faith that we will learn to make the choices that will get us where we want to be and obtain the success we desire.

We can begin to live a new life any day we choose. It doesn't mean our old lives go away. It means we've started down a new path.  Developing new beliefs isn't always easy.  We have to commit to it. We have to work atit every day.  Lake any other journey we may take, we will come across roadblocks, dead ends, and detours. We may even run out of gas.  But we have the power tomake the choice of which direction we will take and whether or not to complete the journey.

Life is a succession of choices.  You have the ability to chose.  Don't choose to spend your life wallowing in negativity, failure, ignorance, poverty, shame, or self-pity.  Choose instead to let go of old hurts and old belief systems.  Choose instead to raise your sights, develop new belief systems and reach for the success that you desire.  Choose to navigate your difficult path wisely and youwill meet with a success you never believed possible.

Judi Moreo is the author of 8 books including her best selling "You Are More Than Enough" and it's companion, "Achievement Journal."  In this new book "Life Choices: Navigating Difficult Paths", Judi compiled the works of 26 authors to bring us 26 compelling motivational short stories in which real people share their journeys of navigating difficult paths through fear, pain, sorrow, betrayal, trials, and challenges to discover new and better lives.  Her website is: www.lifechoicebook.com

The most amazing thing about participating in this book project was meeting the other authors. We were gathering for the first time at a cocktail party in downtown Las Vegas, everyone looking their most beautiful. The energy level was to the roof.

I looked around at a room of vibrant, creative people with big smiles. You would never guess the incredible challenges they had overcome. To connect a face and human spirit with each of the personal stories was one of the most powerful experiences I have ever had.

What a testimonial to the will to survive and conquer!

Judi Moreo has been an instrumental inspiration in the lives of many of us that have "a story." Her dedication to bringing out the success in each and every one of us has, itself been the driving factor in the process of allowing us to heal, laugh, blend and become aware that we truly not our past, but instead our positive future.

I recommend anyone with a story to tell, to find Judi and bring your story to light. She is an amazing resource and I am extremely grateful for this opportunity to share my past and my vision for my own beginning through her stellar compilation. Cheers to her continued success and to the success of each and every writer in "Life Choices", We all "Navigated Difficult Paths" and found places to truly call home.

Having an opportunity to share my story with others has been very humbling for me and I am grateful to Judi for the chance to share it. As a dear friend told me recently, "Sometimes we just don't know how we touch other people's lives!" and it is so true. I hope my story can inspire and help others along their journey because it is very important to know we are not alone. I recently read something that said "If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it" and that is so true, but the important part is realizing when He is working in your life and how.

Although I came through my cancer with a great prognosis there is always that little something that would niggle at me in the middle of the night and make me scared it will come back. Having this opportunity to share my story has been very cathartic for me and I am very grateful to Judi for giving me the opportunity to silence the "niggles" by allowing me to share with others.

Thank you Judi, from the bottom of my heart for allowing me to see that I am "More Than Enough" as a writer and allowing me to pursue a dream.

I am eternally grateful to Judi Moreo for giving me the opportunity to be a part of this live changing experience. I am an author, Judi did that. I have discovered a part of myself that I never knew existed. Judi helped me to find it. I am learning new things everyday. Judi is always there. I can't say enough about the support, and patience that Judi continues to display to all the authors of this book.

I was fortunate to be able to attend the book launch in Las Vegas. I was face to face with the most dynamic group of individuals I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I have a new family of friends that I will treasure the rest of my life. If you have a story, you need to talk to Judi.
